1. Booking & Payment Terms

• Pay on Arrival (Card & Cash Accepted): Payment for all transfers and private tours can be made directly to your driver upon arrival. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express / Amex) as well as cash (USD, EUR, GBP, or LKR).
• Card Processing: Card payments are accepted securely upon completion of your journey or via verified payment link. No advance prepayment is required to confirm your booking.
• Currency Exchange Rates: For non-LKR cash payments, driver exchange rates are based on the official daily Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) rate.
• Fare Quotes & Extra Stops: Quoted prices apply strictly to the agreed pickup location, destination, and pre-booked stops. Unscheduled intermediate stops or route detours requested by passengers during transit will incur additional distance charges calculated at current rates.

2. Airport Pickups, Flight Tracking & Waiting Policy

• Flight Delay Coverage: We monitor live arrival schedules for Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) and Jaffna/Mattala airports. There are zero extra waiting charges for flight delays beyond the passenger's control.
• Grace Period & Terminal Exit: Drivers will wait up to 90 minutes free of charge in the airport arrivals hall after your flight lands to allow for luggage collection and immigration clearance.
• Passenger Responsibility: If delayed in customs or purchasing SIM/currency inside the airport beyond 90 minutes, passengers must notify the driver via WhatsApp or call (+94 76 782 3097). Unannounced delays exceeding 120 minutes without contact may be treated as a passenger no-show.

3. Cancellation, No-Show & Passenger Obligations

• Free Cancellation Window: Cancellations made via WhatsApp or email at least 12 hours prior to scheduled pickup time are completely free with no cancellation penalties.
• Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made under 3 hours before pickup, or failure to meet the driver at the designated pickup location ("No-Show"), will result in the passenger's contact details being flagged and barred from future booking requests across all partner transport networks in Sri Lanka.
• Passenger Luggage Limits: Passengers must declare accurate passenger counts and luggage items during booking. Drivers reserve the legal right to decline transport if total luggage exceeds vehicle safety load capacities.

4. Vehicle Conduct, Safety & Sri Lankan Road Regulations

• Strict No Smoking & Alcohol Policy: In accordance with Sri Lankan law, smoking, consumption of alcohol, or use of illegal substances inside vehicles is strictly prohibited.
• Child Safety Seats: Child safety seats are provided free of charge upon advance request during booking. Passengers are responsible for verifying correct seat securing before vehicle departure.
• Seatbelts & Safety: All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion on Sri Lankan expressways and public roads.
• Driver Right of Refusal: Drivers reserve the right to refuse transport or terminate a trip without refund if any passenger exhibits abusive, intoxicated, or disorderly conduct threatening driver safety.

5. Expressway Tolls, Parking & Unforeseen Circumstances

• Highway Toll Fee Exclusions: Unless explicitly stated in your booking quote confirmation, Southern Expressway (E01), Central Expressway (E04), and Colombo Outer Circular Highway toll ticket fees are paid directly in cash by the customer or added to final settlement.
• Force Majeure & Unexpected Delays: Ceycab and its licensed drivers are not liable for journey delays caused by extreme tropical weather, landslides, flooded mountain passes, unexpected road closures, strikes, or major traffic disruptions beyond our control.
• Personal Belongings: Ceycab is not liable for items left behind in vehicles, although our drivers will make every reasonable effort to recover and return lost belongings to passengers.

6. Legal Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes, claims, or legal matters arising out of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
